Charlie Daniels Band was the star!!
The Charlie Daniels Band rocked it. Played almost non-stop, high energy, great selection. I can only hope to be that strong, active and productive when I'm that age. Closing with The Devil Went Down to Georgia was not a surprise, but what DID surprise me was learning that Whitmer Thomas is almost 80 (October 28th, 2026 is his 80th birthday).
My wife is a long time Charlie Daniels Band fan but was sorely disappointed. Too much time spent holding the microphone to the crowd, trying to get them to sing along, or trying to get the arms waving. They EASILY could have added four more songs to the play list. The playlist was uninspiring and the energy just flat.
